CONCLUSIONS OF THE PROFESSIONAL STAFF MEETING OF THE REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA MINISTER OF THE INTERIOR
The security situation on the territory of the Republic of Srpska is in order. So far this year, the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior has submitted to the competent prosecutor’s offices the total number of 827 reports against 897 persons based on suspicion that they committed the total number of 988 criminal offences. The total number of criminal offences has been reduced by 10.7% compared to the same period in 2024, whereas the coefficient of solved cases committed by an unknown perpetrator was increased by 1.6% - these are the conclusions of the professional staff meeting of the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan.

INTERNATIONAL OPERATION AIMED AT PREVENTING ILLEGAL ARMS TRAFFICKING
The Crime Police Administration of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, in cooperation with the BiH Border Police, Europol and police agencies from Slovenia, France and Spain conducts the operation code-named “CHARON-HITRA“, related to prosecution of an organized criminal group which is engaged in illegal trafficking in firearms and explosives on the territory of the European Union.

MARKING THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF REMEMBRANCE FOR FALLEN POLICE OFFICERS
On the occasion of marking the international Day of Remembrance for fallen police officers, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan and the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, laid a wreath at the Central memorial for the fallen members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior who lost their lives during the last homeland defense war.
