PREPARATIONS FOR CELEBRATING THE 9TH OF JANUARY – THE REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA DAY

Today, the Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, Mr Siniša Karan, attended the session of the HQ for the security operation ‘The Republic of Srpska Day 2024’, where the measures of the Ministry of the Interior referring to celebrating the 9th of January – the Republic of Srpska Day 2024 were defined. The points of the meeting were related to the organization of the festive parade, as well as the management of all aspects of the security of the events that are going to be held on that occasion. THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED IN THE CONTINUATION OF THE OPERATION ‘KODE’

         Today, the police officers of Istočno Sarajevo Police Administration, in cooperation with the Administration for Countering Organised and Serious Crime of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and EUROPOL, monitored by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Istočno Sarajevo, as a part of the continuation of the operation ‘KODE’, arrested three persons on the territory of the city of Istočno Sarajevo based on suspicion that they committed the criminal offences ‘Unauthorised trafficking of narcotic drugs’, and ‘Illegal production and trafficking od narcotic drugs’.
