POLICE IN BANJA LUKA SOLVED TWO CAR THEFTS IN SWITZERLAND

On 26 August 2015, police officers of the Crime Police Sector at Banja Luka Public Security Center, submitted to the District Prosecutor’s Office in Banja Luka a report against person whose initials are J.K., from Banja Luka, based on suspicion that the person had committed six criminal offenses: two of which are serious thefts-car thefts, and four criminal offenses are ‘Forging documents’.

The person J.K. is suspected of stealing a passenger car ‘Audi TT’, whose market value was BAM 150,000, in the period from 15 to 18 October 2010 in Clarens, Switzerland. After that, the person changed the indentification marks on that car and made a non-corresponding registration for it. Furthermore, on 16 October 2014, in Switzerland, the same person stole a passenger car ‘BMW X5 M50d’, whose market value was about BAM 150,000, on which the person changed identification marks, and made a non-corresponding registration and registration plates for it. The suspect used these vehicles on the territory of the City of Banja Luka and the region.
