DEMONSTRATION OF THE TRAINING LEVEL OF SERVICE DOGS

Yesterday, on four testing grounds, the members of the Special Police Unit demonstrated the use of service dogs in different police activities.

The demonstration showed the training level of service dogs through eight working points: using service dogs for detecting explosives and narcotics and using service dogs trained to attack in various situations: when raiding facilities, in order to establish public order when it is disturbed to a greater extent, and to attack a masked person by two service dogs that are not wearing muzzles. Also, during the exercise, it was demonstrated how dogs overcome barriers and the viewers could also observe obedience exercises with three dogs.

Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Dragan Lukač  and Police Director, Mr. Gojko Vasić observed the demonstration.
