The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, held today in the auditorium of the Administration for Police Education a lecture to the students of the High School of Internal Affairs and Police Academy cadets on the topic ″Constitutional Position of the Republic of Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina″.
Minister Karan told the students that a well-trained police officer represented the crucial force of the Ministry, which was one of the strategic goals on the Ministry, and that one of the most important characteristics of future police members was strong patriotic awareness.
″In addition to professional training, it is important to build and strengthen the patriotic awareness of young people on daily basis″, said Minister Karan.
He stated that the main purpose of the lecture was that the future members of the Ministry understand that they represent the strongest barrier and guarantee of safety of the Republic of Srpska.
During the lecture, Karan explained the students the breakup of former Yugoslavia, and how the Serbs, at that turning point, obeying the international principle of self-determination, had the right, duty and obligation to create the greatest value they have today – the Republic of Srpska.
