CONTINUATION OF THE OPERATION ″WOLF″

After the criminal investigation, the police officers of the Administration for Countering Organized and Serious Crime of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, have handed over the person whose initials are R.V. from Montenegro, to the BiH Prosecutor’s Office.
The members of the BiH Border Police controlled the abovementioned person at the Border Crossing Hum on November 25, 2023, while crossing the BiH border, after which they confirmed that the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior had issued a wanted against the abovementioned person.
In 2020, the police officers have submitted to the BiH Prosecutor’s Office the Report on the commission of the criminal offences Organized Crime referred to in Article 250 of the BiH Criminal Code, in connection with the criminal offences Illegal trade in excise goods, from Article 210 of the BiH Criminal Code, Smuggling from Article 214 of the BiH Criminal Code and Illegal Storage of Goods from Article 210b of the BiH Criminal Code against R.V. and other persons. The illegal financial gain obtained after the commission of these criminal offences was BAM 600,000.
The abovementioned activities were implemented in 2020 within the joint operation code-named Wolf, carried out by the Administration for Countering Organized and Serious Crime of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, under the monitoring of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office. The aim of the operation was the detection and disclosure of the criminal offences related to smuggling excise goods – cigarettes.
