Enhancing the capacities of the Southeast Europe Police Chiefs Association (SEPCA) in countering cybercrime, smuggling migrants, human trafficking and other forms of organized and serious crime – were some of the topics discussed during the 2nd SEPCA General Assembly that was held in Banja Luka under the Republic of Srpska Presidency, that is the Presidency of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior.
The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, presided the General Assembly and the directors/deputy directors of SEPCA member states attended the Assembly (including BiH federation, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Moldova, Romania, Republic of Srpska, North Macedonia, Serbia and Albania), as well as the representatives of the Austrian and Italian police.
Considering the fact that the Republic of Srpska presided over the SEPCA General assembly for the past year, Director Kostrešević handed over today the Presidency to the Assistant Director of the Serbian Police, Mr Dragan Vasiljević.
