The Republic of Srpska Government adopted the Action Plan for Countering Human Trafficking in the Republic of Srpska for the period 2024-2027 at its 98th session held on December 12, 2024. The Action Plan includes activities under the competence of the institutions of the Republic of Srpska, aiming to enhance the systems of support, prevention, criminal prosecution of the offences related to human trafficking, seizure of proceeds of crime, protection of victims and witnesses of human trafficking, and improving cooperation at national and international level. Today, at the opening of the General Assembly of the Southeast Europe Police Chiefs Association (SEPCA) in Belgrade, Serbia, the Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia, Mr Ivica Dačić, said that the criminals in every country in the region must not be invisible or feel as if they were in a ‘safe house’, and that for that reason, the cooperation of police agencies of regional countries had to be more intense.
