The Police Director manages all police activities as a manager of the internal operative affairs at the Ministry of Interior of Republic of Srpska, performs, organises, directs and controls police affairs according to the Law on Police and Internal Affairs. For his work he responds to the Minister of the Internal Affairs and the Government of Republic of Srpska.

• monitor and analyze the security affairs, and especially affairs which cause the crime occurance and development;
• direct, harmonise and control the work of the basic and internal organisational units that he directly manages or indirectly through competent managers;
• manage the most complicated police activities and in accordance to them organise, unite and direct the police work, and the activities of the nonoperative lines of work in the function of the operative needs as well;
• issue the decision on working positions of police officers, managers of the internal organisational units in the Ministry of Interior and other police officers;
• sugesst the financial plan for the needs of the police officers;
• organise the strategy preparation, working program, information, analyses, reports and other materials from the police jurisdiction and
• report the Minister regulary on achieved measures and police activities.

Directly organizes, manages and supervises the activities of the organizational units within the organizational unit of the Police Director, organizes daily and periodic meetings, suggests concrete measures and takes care of the cooperation with other organizational units within the Ministry. He supervises and analyzes the justifications for using coercive measures and makes the assessment on how justified the justifications delivered by the heads of the basic organizational units are. He assists the Police Director in all the activities related to his mandate, replaces the director in case of his absence or inability to attend certain events and, if necessary, performs other activities set by the police director.

Duties of the head of Uniformed Police Administration are as follows:

• To monitor, direct and coordinate the activities of public security centres and public security stations, police stations, support units and police units, providing them with expert support in performing activities and tasks in their competence,
• To have the insight in the traffic safety situation on roads and safety while transporting explosive and other dangerous substances, and to undertake certain measures related to that;
• To conduct the monitoring and processing of violations recorded by radar systems;
• To organize and participate in conducting emergency and special security operations;
• To perform inspection supervision and control of the activities conducted by the public security centers, public security stations, police stations and police units, and then provide them with expert assistance;
• To participate in creating curriculum for regular trainings, as well as in preparing legal and other regulations which regulate activities and tasks, organization, actions and other issues related to police;
• To give consent to suggestions on how workers are distributed in accordance with the working line of the Administration,
• To plan, supervise, and control the prevention and problem-oriented activities of the police, and to participate in the organization and development of police activities related to prevention;
• To establish the system for gathering and processing the information necessary for performing prevention activities;
• To conduct analytical-informative activities in the field of prevention;
• To analyze legislation and suggest measures and solutions with the aim of improving prevention;
• To cooperate with other institutions with the aim of undertaking joint security-related prevention activities;
• To suggest, plan and realize prevention campaigns and activities, and for that purpose, to realize the necessary cooperation with media;
• to apply the basic principles of community policing; to monitor and direct the implementation of community policing concept, and conduct other activities in their competence.

Uniformed police Administration conducts all these activities through its organizational units.

GENDARMERIE UNIT

The Gendarmerie Unit performs the more complex activities and tasks in accordance with the Constitution and Law with the aim of providing security to citizens and their property on the territory of the Republic of Srpska. It provides support to Gendarmerie units stationed with each of the territorial police administrations (PA) in the Republic of Srpska in cases where it is necessary to engage two or more gendarmerie units in a PA. Furthermore, it provides aid to operational administrations at the HQ in performing their tasks, and performs the tasks of maintaining public order and peace during public gatherings with increased risk of riots, and participates in establishing public order and peace when it is being disturbed on a higher scale. Additionally, it provides support to regular police forces in performing high risk police operations; blockades and searches terrains with the aim of finding and catching the perpetrators of criminal offences, and consequently, the victims of those criminal offences. Finally, they also perform other tasks and activities in accordance with law.

GENDARMERIE UNIT – MOUNTED POLICE

This unit performs activities and tasks by using service horses. Its activities include providing security during public gatherings with increased risk of riots, and establishing public order and peace when it is being disturbed on a higher scale. Also, the unit involves in providing support in more complex situations, and during blockades and raids. Furthermore, it keeps records, and performs police tasks in cases where it is necessary to use service horses (patrolling picnic areas, swimming areas, pedestrian and tourist zones, etc.). .

Duties of Crime Police Administration are as follows:

• To process the most complex criminal offences.
• To control, supervise and instructively direct the activities of all organizational and support units of crime police in performing tasks of countering and detecting criminal offenses in the field of economic crime, organized and serious crime, general crime, unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs;
• With the support of criminal intelligence analyses, forensic methods and means, special operation activities and searches, to supervise the legality of work of the organizational and support units related to activities of countering and detecting criminal offences, finding and arresting perpetrators and providing the necessary evidence for successful conducting of criminal proceedings;
• To suggest measures, define deadlines, determine the duties of a public security center in the field of controlling the measures defined; to monitor the realization, suggest sanctions and improvement measures;
• To monitor, study and analyze the situation, movements and forms of crime and application of forensic methods, criminal intelligence and special operation activities; to direct the activities of other organizational units in the field of crime;
• To undertake measures for improving organization, performing tasks and improving the efficiency in countering and detecting crime;
• To prepare bylaws regulating the activities for countering crime;
• To prepare programs for professional training and specialization and analytical and information materials in their competence
• To realize the necessary cooperation with other authority bodies
• To announce and publish arrest warrants and publications; to issue the Register and arrest warrant Gazette;
• To perform activities in accordance with the relevant information acquired by intelligence and security service when it is in the competence of the Administration; to conduct other operations in the competence of the Administration.

COMPETENCE

• planning, organising and completing the most complex activities related to security and tasks related to countering terrorism through direct intervention with the aim of eliminating terrorist groups and destroying organised terrorist networks as well as detecting, catching and neutralising organised criminal groups and individuals,
• harmonising action plans with other participants in certain action,
• providing support to operational organisational units of the Ministry in completion of certain operational-tactical measures and activities outside their competence,
• dealing with hostage situations through the following activities: liberating hostages from a kidnapped airplane, train, vessel, truck or passenger vehicle, apartment, house or other type of building, negotiating on liberating hostages without use of force,
• establishing public order and peace in high risk situations,
• repressing rebellions in institutions for the implementation of criminal sanctions,
• providing aid in emergency situations,
• providing aid to citizens in cases of natural disasters, accidents on water and under water, and saving participants in an accident in any situation on a major scale,
• providing security in the facilities the members of the Unit use for accommodation and work, and, by the order of a Minister and Police Director, providing security to other facilities and persons,
• planning the training of its team and members in cooperation with the Training Centre, selecting, training, and accepting new candidates to the Unit in cooperation with other organisational units of the Ministry,
• ďż˝monitoring, analysing and suggesting the application and using achievements in the domain of organising and application of methods and tactics of the Unit in performing the most complex security tasks as well as improving material-technical equipment,
• cooperating with international police and similar foreign police agencies’ offices, providing order, discipline and lawfulness of activities.

ORGANISATION

The Unit is organized in accordance with the European standards for Special Police Units, so that its structure and unit strength provide quality training and high operability level in performing certain tasks.

SELECTION AND TRAINING

Everybody who wishes to become a member of Special Anti-Terrorist Unit has to go through rigorous and difficult selective training. The contest for accepting new candidates depends on the needs of the Unit and available job posts. Training of future members is based on the experiences of home and foreign specialized units and is harmonized with the universally accepted world standards and trends. In accordance with the strictly purposeful needs, the aim of Special Anti-Terrorist Unit training is to professionally train, drill, and prepare all the members of the operational unit both physically and mentally to successfully perform the most complex and delicate tasks in all situations and in every moment.

HISTORY

Ever since it was established to this day, the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit has been continuously developed and modernised and the process can be divided into three stages:
ďż˝ First stage (from 1992 to 1995);
ďż˝ Second stage (from 1995 to 2001);
ďż˝ Third stage (from 2001 to today)

First stage

With the outbreak of war conflicts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the members of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Ministry of the Interior divided based on their ethnicity, so on 4 April 1992, the Police Unit for Special Actions was also divided, and in the second half of 1992, the Special Police Brigade was formed. In the period of war conflicts, from 1992 to 1994, nine units were formed with brigade command stationed in the village of Janja, BIH. Formation structure was as follows: Command, I � Pale division, II � �ekovi�i division, III � Trebinje division, IV � Bijeljina division, V � Doboj division, VI - Banja Luka division, VII � Prijedor division, VIII � Ilid�a division, and IX � Fo�a division. During the war, the Special Police Brigade had 1,500 members, and 144 of them gave their lives for the Republic of Srpska and 400 members were injured. On multiple occasions, the Unit was decorated with the orders of Petar Mrkonji�, Nemanji�i, the First of Order of Njego�, and the order of Merits for the People. Certain number of Unit members was decorated with the orders of Milo� Obili� and Milan Tepi� and other decorations.

Second stage

From 1995 to 2001, the whole Brigade completely changed under detailed monitoring of international organisations, primarily IPTF. When Dayton Peace Agreement was signed, and since its Annex 1B provided that special formations had to be disbanded and retreated to bases/barracks, the Unit changed its name into Anti-Terrorist Actions Police Brigade. The Annex 11 to Dayton Peace Agreement provided that members had to go through training under control of international police � IPTF. After reorganisation in 1998, the Unit got a new name � Specialised Police Service with the Command in Janja, near Bijeljina, divisions in Prijedor and Ilid�a were disbanded, and divisions in Trebinje and Fo�a were integrated with the base on Tjenti�te. Other divisions were transformed into specialised teams. After the reorganisation 1999/2000, the Specialised Police Service was dislocated from Janja to Banja Luka. All divisions were disbanded with exception to those in Janja and Banja Luka. The Specialised Team was located in Banja Luka and transformed into Anti-Terrorist Team.

Third Stage

In 2001, the division Janja was disbanded, and in Rakova�ke Bare base, near Banja Luka, the Specialised Police Service continued their activities, and parts of it were Anti-Terrorist Team, Specialised Team and Mechanised Team. In 2004, the Service changed its name into Special Police Unit. On 8 August 2016, when the Rulebook on internal organisation and systematisation of job posts in the Republic of Srpska Ministry of Interior entered into force, the Unit changed its name into Special Anti-Terrorist Unit. Since the establishment of the Police Brigade in 1992 until today, the duty of Commander was performed by the following people: 1. Milenko Kari�ik (1992-1993); 2. Goran Sari� (1993-1997); 3. Du�ko Jevi� (1997-1999); 4. Dragan Luka� (1999-2004); 5. Ranko Vukovi� (2004-2006); 6. Predrag Krajnovi� (2006-2015); 7. Dragan Ribi� (2015 -2018); 8. Goran Balaban (2018-).

THE INITIAL PILOT PROJECTS IN THE REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA

ďż˝ The initial activities in the field of community policing were initiated in 2002 in cooperation with the members of IPTF, and experience exchange with police agencies from the developed countries of the world, cooperation with numerous international organizations, changes in the countries of the region and membership in various associations, contributed to the concretization of the starting initiatives.

ďż˝ The pilot project 'Community policing and security in a community' in the municipality of Prijedor was realized in cooperation with British Department for international development (DFID) from October 2003 to December 2005

� In 2004, EUPM started implementing several projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and two of them were the so-called 5.5 and 5.4, that is �Community policing� and �Strengthening the capacities of the local police in terms of the returnees� security�, whose pilot-phase ended at the end of 2005

INTENSIFICATION OF WORK AND CONTINUATION OF COOPERATION WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS

ďż˝ In the beginning of 2007 the cooperation with Swiss Agency for development and cooperation started. Together, they realized various educational activities (seminars and workshops). Experiences were exchanged and three study visits to Switzerland were organized. Several prevention campaigns were conducted, and the field of community policing has become a regular subject at the Higher School of the Interior and College of the Interior in Banjaluka. The Rulebook on community policing for Bosnia and Herzegovina was made and receiving rooms in four police buildings of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska were renovated.

� At the initiative of the British Agency �Safeworld� and the Centre for Security Studies in Sarajevo, a draft of the Rulebook on partnership between the police and community

� In cooperation with UNDP, the project �Safe communities� is being implemented, and as pilot municipalities from the Republic of Srpska, the municipalities of Prijedor, Vi�egrad and Bratunac were chosen.

'LET'S PREVENT PEER VIOLENCE' CAMPAIGN

Having in mind that prevention, detection and countering violence among children and young people are extremely important segments of police activities, the members of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, in October 2011, realized a prevention campaign called 'Let's prevent peer violence'. The basic aims of this campaign are as follows:

1. Prevention of new cases of violence among children and young people;

2. Conducting promotional activities and organizing public forums and round tables with the aim of raising public awareness on the necessity of preventing peer violence.

Within the first aim, the organizational units of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska intensified the realization of the project 'School police officer', by conducting planned everyday activities of community policing officers, sector leaders, members of police whose competence is community policing, executive employees as well as all other police officers. As a result, while implementing the campaign, contacts and communication with directors and educators working at educational institutions, as well as parents and students have been improved in order to upgrade mutual trust, identify real problems and individuals who cause conflicts among student population and undertake measures and activities that would help preventing the escalation of peer violence. Special attention was also dedicated to peer violence outside school, when students are not under the supervision of their parents or teachers. Related to this, in October, all police stations realize the following measures and activities aimed at:

- Countering distribution and abuse of narcotic substances among young people (narcotics, alcohol drinks, tobacco products);

- - Denying access and participation of minors in games of chance and similar gambling games (for example, in betting shops).

Within the realization of the listed activities, in October, all public security centers and police stations organize public distribution of promotion material called 'Let's prevent peer violenceďż˝, and, in cooperation with the competent government, local and non-governmental institutions and organizations, initiate and participate in the realization of public forums and round tables with the topic of peer violence.

The round table on the topic 'Peer violence and violence against children and media' held in Banjaluka (9 June 2014)

Within the campaign 'Let's prevent peer violence', conducted by the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, the round table on the topic 'Peer violence and violence against children and media' was held in Banjaluka yesterday. It was organized by the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska together with Ombudsman for children of the Republic of Srpska, Gender Center of the Government of the Republic of Srpska Government and 'Zdravo da ste' Association.

Director of the Police of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Gojko Vasiďż˝ said that statistics show decrease in the number of criminal offences related to peer violence ďż˝ two years ago, there were 27 of these cases registered; last year, there were 14 of them, and this year, there are 6 cases registered so far. When it comes to juvenile delinquency, director Vasiďż˝ said that, this year, the number of registered minors was smaller compared to the previous year, but that it did not have greater significance, because in the last 10 years, these records are approximately the same and that they vary from time to time. 'It is important that all segments of the society function properly,that there are prevention acitivities and that there are mechanisms to prevent the violent behaviour turning into a habit', director Vasiďż˝ pointed out and added that police, within their regular activities, pay great attention to the juvenile delinquency. Police director Vasiďż˝ explained that the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, within the realization of 'School police officer' activities, educational lectures and doors open days, was trying to create pre-conditions for the children to get familiarized with the police and thus gain trust in the police through varoious activities of working with the youth and children.

Ms. Nada Grahovac, Ombudsman for children of the Republic of Srpska, stated for the press before the Round table meeting began, that media have a really important role in promoting and protection of children's rights and raising social awareness on violation of those rights, since they often point to the violation of children's rights. She added that sensationalist reporting, the invasion of child and family privacy, still points to the fact that the public right to obtain information is above children's rights. 'The manner of reporting should not additionally hurt the child. One should think about how the published news is going to affect the child who, after everything that happened to them, is supposed to meet the environment, school and peers'', Ms. Grahovac pointed out. She added that media have to ensure the positive content on children and for children who, according to the research, spend 26.5 hours a week in front of television, and only half an hour talking to their parents. 'From this, one can see the influence of the media on children growing up and why it is necessary to learn on good examples of children, parents and teachers', Ms. Grahovac said and added that laws on media still have not recognized children's right on protection adequately.

The president of the Association of high school directors, Mr. Predrag Damjanoviďż˝ said that schools give their best to minimize the problem of peer violence. 'Almost all schools are qualified, have psychologists employed, social workers and educators, so we can conduct prevention activities. One should not expect that schools can solve all the issues on their own, because, since without systemic approach, strategies and strategic fight, one can hardly do anything on their own', Mr. Damjanoviďż˝ said.

Administration for countering terrorism and extremism performs the following activities:
- to process criminal offenses in the field of terrorism and extremism, as well as war crimes and criminal offenses according to International humanitarian law,
- to control, monitor and instructively direct the activities of all organizational units of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior that are competent for processing the aforementioned criminal offenses, with the support of crime and information analyses, forensic methods and resources and special operation activities,

to control the work of public security centers, public security stations, police stations and support units in the field of performing activities in their competence,

to approve the propositions for the positioning of workers for protecting persons and buildings,

to participate in drafting legislations and other regulations with which jobs, tasks, organization, activities and other issues related to the field of special protection are regulated,

to realize the cooperation with other institutions for the purpose of undertaking joint activities,

to realize cooperation with intelligence and security agencies,

to plan, organize and conduct direct harmonization and control of measures and activities related to protecting persons and buildings in accordance with the decision of the Government,

when necessary, to participate in, coordinate and implement protection measures for persons and delegations from abroad when these are on the territory of the Republic of Srpska,

based on security assessments, to propose undertaking of measures and activities related to operative-preventive, preventive-technical, biological, chemical, sanitary and health protection of persons that are being protected, and directly participate in their implementation and application of the corresponding technical means of protection, in cooperation with Uniformed police administration, Crime police administration, Special Police Unit, and other competent organizational units of the Ministry, competent inspection services, and, when necessary, other expert services and persons with special expert knowledge,

to undertake measures of anti-terrorist security,

to participate in coordination and organizing necessary security measures for joint gatherings and other larger public events organized by state bodies and to directly participate in the realization of certain tasks,

to realize direct communication with cabinets and protocol officers working for the protected persons, Duty Operations Centre of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, operation duties of public security centres, public security centres and other organization units of the Ministry when it is in the interest of person�s protection,

in cooperation with other organization units of the Ministry , to implement measures of technical-preventive protection of persons and buildings that are under special protection,

to coordinate professional development of police officers in accordance with Training programme,

to study contemporary achievements in work methodology and undertake measures for improving the organization of protecting persons and buildings,

to prepare analytical and information materials in their competence,

to coordinate material and technical equipping of the police,

to perform other activities in their competence.

Duties of the Administration for countering organized and serious crime are the following:
ďż˝ to supervise and control the legality of work of the organizational units;
ďż˝ to perform activities on preventing, detecting, and implementing the direct investigation of criminal offences determined by the Law on Countering Corruption, Organized and Most Serious Forms of Economic Crime;
ďż˝ to work on cases related to the aforementioned offences delegated from other organizational units;
ďż˝ to search and arrest the perpetrators of criminal offences of organized crime;
� to undertake activities of arresting and bringing in perpetrators to the competent prosecutor�s office, based on the order of the prosecutor�s office and in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code and Criminal Code;
ďż˝ to collect intelligence and evidence on the aforementioned forms of crime;
ďż˝ to monitor and analyze the security situation and circumstances that may lead to emergence and development of organized crime;
ďż˝ to organize and perform criminalistics-operational and professional tasks;
ďż˝ to undertake all investigation activities in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code and based on the order of a preliminary proceeding judge;
ďż˝ to organize, manage directly, and participate in certain actions in the field of preventing and detecting the most complex criminal offences, and detecting and arresting their perpetrators;
ďż˝ to direct, supervise, and coordinate operational activities on collecting information; to analyze the collected information and direct their use for operational purposes;
ďż˝ to suggest undertaking measures and actions in future, and cooperate with other organizational units, keep prescribed records, and undertake information protection measures;
ďż˝ to collect criminal intelligence for persons for whom there is information that they are perpetrators of criminal offences or who are related to committing criminal offences, as well as for persons against whom the criminal investigation was opened in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code;
ďż˝ to cooperate with state bodies, the Service for the revision of public sector, the Indirect Taxation Administration, Tax Administration, and other financial institutions regarding activities important for efficient prevention and detection of the most complex forms of crime, and with police agencies of other countries regarding criminal intelligence work as well;
ďż˝ to participate in selecting and educating police officers regarding criminal intelligence activities and undercover investigations;
ďż˝ to provide investigators with a cover story and logistic support;
ďż˝ to introduce an undercover investigator and informant with the case in accordance with the provisions from the Criminal Procedure Code;
ďż˝ to provide professional assistance to public security centres and supervise performing activities in that field;
ďż˝ to participate in making normative acts, reports, and other professional materials;
ďż˝ to assess, plan, and execute actions with other employees with public authorisations in order to efficiently counter crime;
ďż˝ to perform other activities in their competence. Crime Police Administration Duties Duties of the Crime Police Administration are the following:
ďż˝ to process the most complex criminal offences;
ďż˝ to control, monitor, and instructively direct the activities of all organizational and support units of crime police in performing tasks of countering and detecting criminal offences in the field of economic crime, general crime, with the support of criminal intelligence analysis, forensic methods and means, special operation activities and searches;
ďż˝ to supervise the legality of work of the organizational and support units related to activities on countering and detecting criminal offences, finding and arresting perpetrators of criminal offences and providing necessary evidence for successful conducting of criminal proceedings;
ďż˝ to suggest measures, define deadlines, determine the duties of a public security centre in the field of controlling ordered measures; to monitor the realization, suggest sanctions and improvement measures;
ďż˝ to monitor, study, and analyze the situation, movements and forms of crime and the application of forensic methods, criminal intelligence analysis and special operational activities;
ďż˝ to direct work of other organizational units in the field of crime;
ďż˝ to undertake measures for improving organization, performing activities and improving the efficiency in countering and detecting crime;
ďż˝ to prepare bylaws regulating the activities and procedure for countering crime;
ďż˝ to prepare programs for professional training and specialization;
ďż˝ to prepare analytical and information materials in their competence;
ďż˝ to realize the necessary cooperation with other state bodies;
ďż˝ to announce and issue warrants and announcements;

The Administration for Police Support conducts the following activities:
ďż˝ improving lawful procedures and activities of organisational segments of the Ministry through providing support to all lines of work;
ďż˝ direct engagement in most complex operational activities, investigations and other activities from their scope of activities;
ďż˝ performing certain operational and instructive activities,
� by the order of the Director, visiting organisational units and sectors with the aim of informing the management about Director�s orders and decisions, as well as controlling and monitoring the activities implementing Director�s decisions;
ďż˝ performing preventive and educational activities;
ďż˝ monitoring the application of regulations in the field of police affairs;
ďż˝ coordinating organisational units of the police with the aim of consolidating and providing guidelines, suggestions and opinions about drafts and proposals of laws and bylaws that are significant for the functioning of the police;
ďż˝ providing professional legal assistance when directly performing police activities and applying authorisations;
ďż˝ directing and organizing cooperation between the police and state bodies, local self-government bodies, NGOs, associations of citizens and other entities with the aim of raising the level of the safety of citizens and their property;
ďż˝ participating in and realising the harmonization process when applying projects and activities for the purpose of enhancing the efficiency and the results of the police work;
ďż˝ performing activities related to monitoring and control;
ďż˝ instructively directing and monitoring the legality of activities and tasks in the field of forensic techniques and anti-diversion protection and pyrotechnics;
ďż˝ studying, finding, improving, and applying scientific and technical methods and means;
ďż˝ participating in drafting and realisation of equipping programmes;
ďż˝ monitoring the equipment and technical means and providing that forensic and EOD services are timely equipped;
ďż˝ preparing instructions, guidelines and other directing documents that regulate the work and activities, collecting and processing information about all forms of crime, especially cyber-crime and organised crime, illegal production and trade of narcotic drugs; planning and proactively and reactively collecting, assessing and analysing intelligence;
ďż˝ directing, monitoring and coordinating operational activities related to collecting data, analysing collected data and directing their use for operational purposes;
ďż˝ providing recommendations for undertaking further measures and actions;
ďż˝ cooperating with other organisational units;
ďż˝ keeping regulated records and implementing the measures of data protection;
� collecting criminal intelligence for persons for who there is information that they are perpetrators of criminal offences or are related to the commission of criminal offences, as well as persons who are under criminal investigation in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code of both the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and by the orders issued by courts or prosecutor�s offices;
ďż˝ cooperating with other bodies of state administration and police agencies from other countries while performing activities related to criminal intelligence;
ďż˝ participating in the selection of and education of police officers related to criminal intelligence activities, as well as undercover investigations;
ďż˝ participating in the infiltration of investigators and providing them with logistic support;
ďż˝ introducing the undercover investigator and informer to the case in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code;
ďż˝ providing professional support to public security centres, and monitoring activities in that field;
ďż˝ participating in drafting normative documents, reports and other professional materials;
ďż˝ performing other activities in its scope of activities.
