Slobodan Torbica was born on 29 August 1974 in Munich, Federal Republic of Germany. After finishing Grammar School in Gradiška, he continued his education at Police College in Banja Luka and became law graduate in Internal Affairs. After finishing Higher School of Internal Affairs, he became Bachelor of Law in Internal Affairs.
He has been employed with the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior since 1994, and has performed tasks on the following positions: policeman, head of the first category sector, crime police inspector, head of Crime police division in Gradiška PS, deputy commander at Gradiška PS, commander of Gradiška PS. At Banja Luka PSC, he worked at the following positions: head of Police Sector, inspector at General Jurisdiction Police Unit at Uniformed Police Administration and inspector at the Unit for organized crime and narcotic drugs at the Administration for Serious and Organised Crime.
Mr Torbica was appointed head of Gradiška Police Administration in March 2023.
