Today, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, and chief of Brčko District Police, Mr Goran Pisić, signed a contract on regulating mutual rights and obligations regarding providing services of basic police training between these police agencies. Minister Lukač said that the contract actually means that eight members of Brčko District Police would go through basic police training for the rank of a police officer at the Police Academy of the Administration for police education of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior. On this occasion, chief Pisić pointed out that this contract was very significant because in future, Brčko District Police would be faced with employing new, young staff. He expressed his gratitude to the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior for providing the possibility of professional training of the police officers from Brčko.
