With the aim of undertaking security measures and actions regarding local elections on the territory of BIH, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior issued the order prohibiting transport of explosive materials on roads from 12 a.m. on 2 October to 12 a.m. on 3 October 2016. Ministry headquarters, public security centers, public security stations, and police stations are not going to issue permits for the transport of explosive materials for the above-mentioned day. Due to local elections, the locations of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior dealing with personal documents, such as identity cards, permanent and temporary place of residence, unique designated number, including acquisition of new documents, are going to be opened on Saturday and Sunday, on 1 and 2 October 2016, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Documents proving the identity of voters are: identity card, passport, and driving license. The headquarters of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior ‘’Elections 2016’’ are following and undertaking measures and actions for the purpose of maintaining stable security situation in the Republic of Srpska in the pre-election campaign and on the day of local elections.
