With the aim of maintaining stable security situation, the police officers of the Support Unit of Bijeljina Public Security Centre and the police officers of the Police Station in Srebrenica, are in the municipal building of Srebrenica where they are protecting the election materials. Police officers have been protecting the election materials from the moment they were delivered to Srebrenica and they will continue to protect them until they are sent to the Central Election Commission. As a result of the police of the Republic of Srpska being present 24 hours on the territory of Srebrenica, during and after the elections, no incidents and disturbance of peace and order were registered. In addition, in no way are the members of the police interfering the election process. Their duty is to prevent the disturbance of public order and peace.
