The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Mr. Dragan Lukač, said that the police of the Republic of Srpska fully solved two criminal cases of ‘’Serious Murder’’, and these murders were the murder of Rada Dojčinović committed one year ago in the village of Jošikova Voda, near Banja Luka, and the murder of Miroslav Lazarević committed on Saturday, 15 October, in Istočno Novo Sarajevo. Police Director, Mr. Darko Ćulum, stated that a person ,whose initials are B.A. and who confessed the commission of the criminal offence, was arrested the previous night, in Banja Luka, for the murder of Rada Dojčinović. According to the head of Administration for Countering Organized and Serious Crime, Mr. Darko Ilić, the motive for the murder was greed, since the arrested person previously discovered that Dojčinović possessed a greater amount of money, but the person took a smaller amount of money when committing a criminal offence. Furthermore, he stressed that the person was a recidivist in committing criminal offences and had previously been convicted, and would be handed over to the Banja Luka District Prosecutor’s Office for further proceedings that day. In addition, Mr. Ilić said that there was enough material evidence for te murder of Miroslav Lazarević in Istočno Novo Sarajevo that happened the previous day, and that two persons were handed over to the competent Prosecutor’s Office. The Head of Administration for Countering Organized and Serious Crime said that greed was also the motive for this murder since the arrested persons killed Lazarević because of money or another benefit. In addition, he said that the fact who ordered the murder had not been solved yet. ‘’These persons are the members of the organized criminal groups related to the criminal cases happening lately in the region. We have realized the cooperation with the members of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia’’, Mr. Ilić said. Police Director, Mr. Darko Ćulum, expressed his gratitude to the Sarajevo Canton Police for the cooperation during solving the criminal case.
