Today, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr. Dragan Lukač, spoke with the Mayor of the City of Banja Luka, Mr. Igor Radojičić, during working visit to the City Administration of Banja Luka. They agreed that the security situation in the city was satisfactory and the mutual cooperation was successful.                 Minister Lukač stressed that the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior was always available for all city services for the purpose of protecting all citizens.                 In addition, Minister Lukač said that the Ministry of the Interior was working on improving material and technical equipment, and strengthening police personnel in Banja Luka.                 Mr. Radojičić said that it was extremely important for Banja Luka to be a safe city and in this respect, many activites would be undertaken, and one part of them would be within the scope of the Ministry of the Interior, and the other within the scope of the City administration.                 ’’ It is a whole series of measures that needs to be worked on in future, starting from measures in the field of traffic safety to facilities of interest for maintaining security from the aspect of terrorism and other manners of threatening security’’, Mr. Radojčić said.
