Today, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior. Mr. Dragan Lukač, met with the Minister of Security of BIH, Mr. Dragan Mektić.  The Ministers stressed that the good cooperation and coordination of all security agencies in BIH was very important, as well as the cooperation with all police agencies in the region. At the meeting, they also discussed the cooperation with the European Police Office (EUROPOL), that is, the joint contact point, and said that they except that new agreement would be achieved in future, and that this agreement would provide establishing the position of a liaison officer in the Hague and raising the international cooperation on a higher level. Regarding the UN 1373 Resolution, Minister Lukač said that the Council of Ministers of BIH should not open new investigations, but accept the information provided by police agencies as valid.  ‘’It would be ideal if the people, for who we have evidence confirming they are financing terrorism, were prosecuted and convicted, and for us to submit such information to the Council of Ministers’’, Minister Lukač said.
