THE PRELIMINARY SOLUTION OF CENTRAL MEMORIAL MONUMENT FOR THE FALLEN MEMBERS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SPRSKA MINISTRY OF THE INTERIOR PRESENTED

Today, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr. Dragan Lukač, presented the preliminary solution for the Central memorial monument for the fallen members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior.             Minister Lukač said that he was pleased that the monument to the fallen members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior was going to be built, but also expressed regret that it had not been built earlier. In addition, he said that the monument was going to be finished by April the following year, that is, on the Republic of Srpska Police Day.             The President of the Veterans Association of the Third Squad of the Special Police Brigade in Herzegovina, Mr. Dejan Bodiroga, expressed his gratitude to Mr. Lukač for initiating the building of monument.             ‘’We, who are here today, and all members of the Ministry of the Interior, have obligation to cherish the values that the members of the Special Brigade fought for in the war’’, Mr. Bodiroga stressed.             The war commander of the Seventh Squad SBP, Mr. Zlatko Brdar, added that building of the monument would contribute to the preservation of memory on the fallen members of the Ministry of the Interior, and would oblige future generations to protect achievements for which they gave their lives.             In addition to the management of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, the representatives of all nine squads of the former Special Police Brigade and Veterans Association of the security service of the Republic of Srpska attended the presentation.             Mr. Saša Zečević and the management of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior agreed about the final solution, and the model of memorial monument was also presented.
