From 19th to 21st May, in Marrakesh, the Kingdom of Morocco, members of the Department for Countering Cybercrime of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior Crime Police Administration participated on the Cyber Games where they achieved an exceptional result by winning the gold medal. 

Cyber ​​Games is an international event dedicated to strengthening capacities in the field of combating cybercrime and digital forensics. More than 160 experts from over 50 countries participated in the event, including police officials, digital forensics and cybersecurity experts who enhanced their knowledge in the field of investigating ransomware attacks, cryptocurrency tracing, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) analysis, digital forensics, asset seizure and international cooperation in combating cybercrime and cyber investigations through practical scenarios and teamwork.

The participants were chosen through a selection process from among almost 400 candidates. Special focus was placed on the improvement of cross-border cooperation and the application of international instruments, including the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime and other protocols.

The event was organized in cooperation with the Council of Europe, INTERPOL and several international partners.
