ADMINISTRATION FOR LEGAL AFFAIRS AND HUMAN RESOURCES


Head of Administration

Srđan Obradović, was born on October 22, 1981, in Sarajevo. He finished ‘’Sveti Sava’’ Grammar School in Prijedor and graduated from the Faculty of Law in Banja Luka. He has been employed within the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior since 2010. In the Administration for Legal Affairs and Human Resources, he performed the tasks and activities of an intern, senior expert associate, chief of section, head of department, and deputy head of administration. He has been the Head of the Administration for Legal Affairs and Human Resources since January 4, 2021. He is married and father of two children.

Obligations


Administration for Legal Affairs and Human Resources conducts the following activities:

  • to monitor, study and observe the effect and consequences of laws and other regulations and expert explanations in the field of internal affairs, and based on these, to propose and participate in creating amendments to them;
  • to analyze the causes and consequences of irregularities and omissions in the work of the internal organizational units of the Ministry and suggests measures to eliminate them;
  • to monitor the timeliness of adopting general regulations for implementing laws and other regulations in the field of internal affairs and their compliance with the law;
  • to provide expert opinions related to certain legal issues
  • to supervise the implementation of administrative internal affairs within organizational units of the Ministry
  • to conduct appellate legal procedure based on citizens’ complaints about solutions of basic organizational units in the field of administrative internal affairs, and first instance procedures in that field which is in the competence of the Ministry at the headquarters;
  • to monitor and analyze personnel situation and realization of personnel policy;
  • to monitor and analyze the functioning of the organization of the Ministry;
  • to take care of education and professional training of the employees;
  • to prepare decisions for resolving employment status;
  • to conduct all types of medical examinations for the Ministry;
  • to provide primary health care for the employees, students of the Police Academy, as well as participants of the courses and seminars.
