The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr. Dragan Lukač, met with the President of NucTech Company Ltd. for Europe, Mr. Fu Qiyuan. The expressed readiness of NucTech Company to donate certain equipment for X-ray control, which would be very helpful to the Republic of Srpska Police in countering crime, is the reason for the visit of President Fu Qiyuan. NucTech Company Limited, with its headquarters in Beijing (China), is the leading world producer of equipment for checking luggage, passengers and load on land border crossings, airports, sea ports, railroads, subways and motorways. At the meeting with Mr. Qiyuan, Minister Lukač expressed his gratitude for the interest expressed by NucTech Company and emphasized the significance of such a donation for the activities of the Republic of Srpska Police in countering smuggling of goods, organized crime and terrorism more efficinetly, thus contributing to improving safety, reducing corruption  and countering illegal trafficking. He added that the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior would be open and ready to cooperate in similar initiatives in future with the Government of People’s Republic of China. The Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr. Gojko Vasić, was also present at this meeting.
