BASIC INFORMATION

Head of the Minister's Service

Srđan Obradović was born on October 22, 1981, in Sarajevo. He completed his secondary education at the Grammar School "Sveti Sava" in Prijedor and graduated at the Faculty of Law in Banja Luka. Since 2010, he has been employed at the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior. Over the years, he has held various positions within the Administration for Legal Affairs and Human Resources, including the positions of a trainee, senior associate, head of sector, head of department, deputy head of administration, and Head of the Administration for Legal Affairs and Human Resources. He assumed the position of the Head of Office of the Minister on September 15, 2025. He is married and has two children.

COMPETENCE

Competence

to organise and participate in creating work programmes and work reports of the Ministry, and monitor programme realisation,
to organise and monitor the timely material preparation for the sessions of the Republic of Srpska Government (hereinafter: the Government), the Republic of Srpska National Assembly (hereinafter: the National Assembly) and provide for the implementation of the decisions adopted by the Government and the National Assembly,
to coordinate the preparation of opinions of the regulations adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly of BIH and other bodies at the level of BIH, which are directly connected to the activities of the Ministry,
to make preparations for the sessions of the Staff Meeting and provide for the implementations of its conclusions,
to monitor the realisation of activities and tasks in the field of internal affairs, realisation of conclusions adopted by these bodies referring to the Ministry,
to monitor and study the materials on the issues in the field of internal affairs, inform the Minister about them and propose concrete measures,

to monitor providing information to the public on the activities of the Ministry and realise specific tasks related to the cooperation of the Ministry with the media,
to coordinate the activities of international cooperation according to the legislation of the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina and agreements signed with the police structures of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Brčko District,
to prepare for counseling and other meetings organised and held by the Minister, receive mail addressed to the Minister, prepare and send responses of the Minister,
to manage documents and materials delivered to the Minister,
to perform certain activities related to protocol,
to monitor the activities of the organisational units of the Ministry,
to analyse phenomena, undertake measures for improvement and monitor the security situation in the Republic of Srpska.
