The Republic of Srpska

Mr. Borislav Šarić was born on August 22, 1979, in Mrkonjić Grad.
After completing primary education, he graduated from the Secondary School of Internal Affairs in Sremska Kamenica, acquiring the title of "policeman." He obtained the title of "graduate police officer" upon completing the Police Academy in Belgrade. He earned his master’s degree at the Faculty of Security Studies, University of Belgrade, receiving the academic title of "Master of Science in Defense, Security, and Protection." He completed Advanced Security and Defense Studies at the School of National Defense “Vojvoda Radomir Putnik,” University of Defense, Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia, during which he was awarded the Medieval Serbian Sword by decree of the President of the Republic of Serbia.
At the College of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, he held positions as expert associate and lecturer, while at the Faculty of Security Studies of the University of Banja Luka, he was appointed as a senior assistant.
He began his employment with the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska in 1998 as a police officer in the Police Station Mrkonjić Grad, CJB Mrkonjić Grad, and since then has performed the following duties and tasks: senior expert associate on police subjects at the College of Internal Affairs Banja Luka; traffic safety inspector in the Department for Traffic Safety, Police Administration; commander of the Traffic Safety Police Station Banja Luka, CJB Banja Luka; head of the Strategic Planning and Analysis Unit; head of the Police Unit for the Protection of Persons and Facilities, Police Administration; head of the Administration for the Protection of Persons and Facilities.
He has been serving as the Head of the Administration for the Protection of Persons and Facilities since April 15, 2015. He is married and the father of three children.
