The Republic of Srpska

Velimir Kostović was born on September 19, 1975, in Foča. He is married and a father of three children. He completed secondary school in Foča and graduated from the Higher School of Internal Affairs in Belgrade in 1999. In 2010, he graduated from the College of Internal Affairs in Banja Luka, earning the title of Graduate Lawyer of Internal Affairs. He began his employment with the Ministry of the Interior in 2000, working as an inspector for criminal intelligence analysis. Since 2005, he has served as the Head of the Criminal Police Department in the Police Station of Srbinje. In 2011, he was assigned to the position of Head of the Foča Police Station, and since April 6, 2017, he has been serving as the Head of the Foča Police Administration.
