The Republic of Srpska

Today, in Banja Luka, Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Dragan Lukač, met with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Petr A. Ivantsov. During the meeting, Minister Lukač and Ambassador Ivantsov paid special attention to discussing security situation in the Republic of Srpska in the context of attempted murder of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vučić, in the village of Potočari. Also, they discussed the cooperation among police agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. On this occasion, the participants of the meeting expressed their wish to improve the relationship between the Ministries of the Interior of the two countries, and they also discussed modalities of cooperation with special emphasis on exchange of experience and trainings for police officers.
