The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior is determined to fight against corruption, which is reflected both in proposing and working on adoption of legal decisions in this field as well as conducting investigations and introducing  new specific technical solutions with the purpose of reducing contact between a client and an employee. When it comes to strategic frameworks in fighting corruption, the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior created its own Integrity Plan last year and educated the representatives of other institutions on creating and implementing this plan. Also, the Ministry of the Interior adopted the Dynamic Integrity Plan for 2015. With this plan, all organizational units defined 78 planned actions for reducing risks, based on previously established corruption risks, and 90% of these actions have been realized. The creation of Dynamic Integrity Plan for 2016 is in progress. For example, with the last procurement of stationary radars and radars which can be used not just manually, but also automatically, the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior is trying to reduce the influence of police officers on recording traffic violations. Also, there is an increased number of other digital devices used for performing police duties, whose results have little dependence on human factor, thus reducing the risk of committing criminal offences related to corruption. The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior would like to remind the citizens that, in September 2014, using its professional and financial capacities, they started the interactive Internet application ‘’Report corruption’’, in order to encourage citizens, by leaving personal information or being anonymous, to report a suspicion regarding corruption and other irregularities related to the work of civil servants. It is possible to access the application through the websites of all ministries of the Government of the Republic of Srpska, and the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior is competent for developing the application on websites of other public and local institutions. Through the application ‘’Report corruption’’, from its establishment till today, 119 corruption acts and other irregularities in the work of civil servants were reported, 20 of which were reported by leaving personal information of the applicant, whereas 99 of them were reported anonymously.
