The Republic of Srpska

Today, Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Dragan Lukač, met with the military attaché of the USA Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Mark M. Karas. At the meeting, both realized and future projects of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior were discussed, in addition to the cooperation with the USA Embassy. Also, special attention was dedicated to the cooperation with the military component in the field of police and specialist trainings and the possibilities of donating equipment to the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior. Moreover, the current security situation in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the events on the territory of the municipality of Novi Grad as well as the attitudes of the Republic of Srpska Government on these events were discussed at the meeting. On this occasion, military attaché Karas praised the cooperation between the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and the Embassy, and finally, both parties expressed their wish to continue their joint activities. Chief of the Office for Defense Cooperation, Mr. Jacob Andrews, and representatives of ICITAP Office in Banja Luka were also present at the meeting.
