The Republic of Srpska

This evening, in the city of Banja Luka, Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr Dragan Mektić, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, SIPA Director, Mr Perica Stanić, and the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Gojko Vasić had a meeting. The meeting was held in order to overcome the difficult situation regarding the cooperation between the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and SIPA. During the meeting a compromise was reached to improve and precisely define the existing agreement on the operational cooperation and coordination. Furthermore, the participants of the meeting agreed upon the cooperation on countering terrorism. In the following week, the aforementioned operational-level agreement is going to be signed by the Republic of Srpska Police Director and SIPA Director in order to improve the efficiency and coordination in the future cooperation.
