The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, in cooperation with the European Commission Instrument for Technical Assistance and Information Exchange (TAIEX), is organizing a workshop whose topic is ‘Fighting against Money Counterfeiting’ which is going to be held from 14 to 15 December 2015 in Banja Luka. The aim of the workshop is to present new forms and methods of counterfeiting money, prevention measures whose aim is to help fighting against this type of crime, improved tools for performing cross-border investigation, as well as to promote fast information exchange between police agencies, financial-intelligence agencies and other organizations competent for detecting forged money, and the best practice of the EU countries in countering this type of crimes. The participants of the workshop are the members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, State Investigation and Protection Agency, Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brčko District Police, Police Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ministries of the Interior from several cantons, and the representatives of the Prosecutor’s Offices.
