The Republic of Srpska

Deputy Director of the Republic of Srpska Police, Mr. Darko Ćulum, participated in the two-day Balkan Region Police Chiefs Conference, held in Rome. The total number of 13 police chiefs from the region participated in the Conference. Hosts of the Conference were the Minister of the Interior and Police Director of the Republic of Italy, as well as the Director of EUROPOL. The Conference discussion topics were terrorism, migrations and organized crime. At the Conference, Mr. Ćulum presented the efforts of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior in fighting against terrorism, as well as the participation of the Republic of Srpska Police in major international actions related to countering organized crime. Additionally, he pointed out the necessity for cooperation between all partners in the region regarding these fields of crime.
