The Republic of Srpska

Today, in Banja Luka, Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Dragan Lukač, met with the recently appointed military attaché of People’s Republic of China, Mr. Luo Tiefeng. This was the first, inaugural visit of Mr. Tiefeng to the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, and the meeting was an opportunity to strengthen the already established cooperation with the representatives of People’s Republic of China. On this occasion, Minister Lukač and military attaché Tiefeng expressed their readiness and openness to continue their cooperation, especially regarding joint projects and equipping with contemporary devices, which would improve the efficiency of the activities performed by the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior. Furthermore, the current security situation in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina was discussed, with special emphasis on terrorism threats. The visit of the military attaché Tiefeng to the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior is yet another evidence of excellent cooperation between the Ministry and People’s Republic of China – they traditionally answer each other’s invitations to mark special events.
