The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, in cooperation with Technical Assistance and Information Exchange instrument of the European Commission-TAIEX, is organizing the workshop whose topic is ‘’Seizing the property gained by committing criminal offences’’, which is going to be held from 26 to 27 January 2016 in the city of Banja Luka. The best EU practice in the area of seizing the illegally gained property, identification of perpetrators based on tracking financial transactions, cooperation with Prosecutor’s Office and international cooperation are the topics that are going to be discussed at the workshop. Also, the discussion will involve challenges and obstacles in investigation, as well as difficulties in the process of seizing illegally gained properties. The experts from Italy, Belgium, Poland and the Netherlands are going to participate on this workshop in order to explain what difficulties they encountered, regarding the seizure of illegally gained property, and how they handled them.
