The Republic of Srpska

Police officers from Crime Police Administration of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, in coordination with and monitored by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, realized an international action whose code name is ‘Odisej’, whose result was submitting a report on the criminal offence committed against the perpetrators an A.M. and a K.M. The action was conducted in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of the Interior of the FBiH and Federal Police of Germany (BKA). Persons A.M. and K.M. are suspected of committing the criminal offence of ‘Organized crime’ from Article 250 of the Criminal Code of BiH related to the following criminal offences: Unauthorized sale of narcotic drugs; Creating and spreading computer viruses; Computer fraud; Unauthorized access to a computer, computer network, telecommunication network and electronic data processing; Forging credit cards and cards for cashless payments; Money laundering; Forging documents; and Unauthorized trade. There is base for suspicion that A.M. established three forums within three years and initiated the trade of services and goods acquired by committing criminal offences, means for committing criminal offences, or means that resulted from committing a criminal offence. Services offered on these forums were highly sophisticated ones: creating and spreading computer viruses; unauthorized access to a protected computer, computer network, telecommunication network and electronic data processing for the purpose of collecting personal information; making false documents; selling or renting means for performing computer frauds; and unauthorized production and sale of narcotic drugs. K.M. is suspected of accepting money acquired from the activities mentioned above, turning digital money into real money and sending the money to other participants in the chain of illegal activities. This organized criminal group acted on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and other areas where German language is used, via Internet and postal/courier services in BiH and other countries.
