Within the international operational action whose code name is ’’ECLIPSE’’, realized by Crime Police Administration of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior  in cooperation with SELEC ( Regional Work Group for Fighting Customs Fraud and Contraband), the police officers of Šipovo Police Station found seven sacks of tobacco in bulk, weighing about 150 kg, when checking a motor vehicle, brand ’’Golf’’,  this morning in the village of Novo Selo, the municipality of Kupres. The tobacco was hidden in the car and the driver did not have the necessary documentation for it. The driver of the vehicle, an M.A. (born in 1960) from the town of Grude, was arrested based on  the suspicion that they committed criminal offence ’’ Illicit trade’’.           When the prosecutor on duty of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Banja Luka was informed on all the circumstances, he ordered that, after the criminal investigation, the person  be released  and that the report against them for the mentioned criminal offence  be submitted within regular procedure.            The aim of the ongoing action ’’ECLIPSE’’ is monitoring and supressing illegal transport of cigarettes, raw tobacco, tobacco for smoking and illegal manufacturing and processing tobacco.
