In cooperation with the International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program of the United States Department of Justice, the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior is realizing the campaign called ’’ Stop Domestic Violence - Do not suffer! Report  violence!’’ Within this campaign, through discussions and sharing informational and educational materials, the police officers educate citizens about criminal offence and minor offence domestic violence, as well as actions of the police and other competent authorities with the aim of protecting victims and preventing further domestic violence. In recent years, domestic violence is more and more often reported to the competent institutions, because victims are aware of the legislative norms, which was not the case in the earlier period. During 2015, in the area of Public Security Center Prijedor, 56 criminal offences and 60 minor offences related to domestic violence were recorded in families or households. To the District Prosecutor’s Office, 52 reports about committed criminal offence  and 53 requests for initiating minor offence proceedings were submitted. Statistically, violence is most exerted by men, whereas women are victims of violence in most of the cases. The total number of reported persons is 112, and 103 of them are men. In 2015, 122 victims of violence were recorded: 74 of them were women, 31 of them were men and 17 of them were children. The aim of this campaign is introducing domestic violence to citizens, as well as animating them to report violence to the police by dialing the number 122 if they have some information. This call can be completely anonymous, but they can also report domestic violence by going to the nearest police station. Report violence. Do not let yourself suffer and become a victim of domestic violence!
