Today, Minister of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, opened a new police station in Nova Topola (near the town of Gradiška), which works within the Public Security Station in Gradiška and Public Security Center in Banja Luka. On this occasion, Minister Lukač emphasized that the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior recognized the need for establishing a police station in Nova Topola and that the police officers of this station were going to provide security for more than 15 000 residents from 21 local communities in the region of Lijevče Polje. Head of the municipality of Gradiška, Mr Zoran Latinović, said that the opening of the police station in Nova Topola will improve the security structure efficiency, as well as the safety of residents in Lijevče Polje. Police Director of the Republic of Srpska, Mr Gojko Vasić, Head of the Public Security Center Banja Luka, Mr Boško Pandža, Head of the Public Security Station in Gradiška, Mr Bojan Škorić, members of the Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, the representatives of religious communities, public companies and facilities from the municipality of Gradiška also attended this ceremony.
