The Republic of Srpska

Today, in Banja Luka, Minister of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Mr. Dragan Lukač, and  the President of the Worker Union of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, Ms. Anica Jondić,  opened the ’’Police Sports Day’’, the sport competition of the members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, traditionally organized on the ocassion of the Police Day of the Republic of Srpska. Minister Lukač said that the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior was welcoming its Day - 4 April, in satisfactory work conditions and safety environment. He said that there was a much larger number of competitors in this year’s ’’Police Sport Day’’ than last year, and added that it was an introduction to the celebration of the Police Day of the Republic of Srpska. The president of the City  Worker Union of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Ms. Anica Jondić said that the ’’Police Sports Day ’’ was a good occasion for the members of the Ministry of the Interior ’’to move away’’ from everyday work, but also an opportunity to work even more on strenghtening the feeling of  community  that was essential in these institutions. At ’’Police Sport Day’’, over 500 members of the Ministry of the Interior from all parts of the Republic of Srpska are participating and competing in seven disciplines such as running, futsal, shooting, karate, judo, basketball and volleyball.
