Today, in Banja Luka, on the ocassion of  4 April,  the Administration for Police Education organized ’’Open Door Day’’ for primary school and secondary school students who had an opportunity to be introduced with work and activites of this Administration. ’’ Through this activity, our aim is to promote the Police Academy, the College of the Interior, training that our cadets go through, rooms in which we operate, as well as the part of  resources and equipment that police officers use in everyday work’’, Mr. Šikman said. He said that the students had the opportunity to see police vehicles, an exercise in which self-defense skills were demonstrated, as well as an exercise with police dogs. ’’The analyses show that these activites are important in improving police-citizen relations,  showing  to the youngest citizens dangers that lurk them every day, and how to recognize them and react to them’’, Mr. Šikman pointed out.
