On the occasion of  4 April, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interrior, Mr. Dragan Lukač held a traditional meeting with the retired members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior. Minister Lukač said that it was a great honour to host 13 former police officers and to speak with them about current police issues. ’’Since they have a great experience in their working life, some of them expressed interest to be future members of the reserve unit of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, for some future situations in which the Ministry of the Interrior would have need for their engagament’’, Minister Lukač said. A retired police officer, Mr. Radoslav Kozomara from Banja Luka thinks that the police job is very hard, and that it would be hard for somebody to work as a police officer after the 55th birthday, since the people in that period are not physically fit for that job. He congratulated the Police Day to the management and all members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, wishing them good health and less work to do . ’’ The priority should be material technical equipping of the active members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, and rejuventation of human personnel’’, a retired police officer, Mr. Kozomara said. A retired member of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Mr. Zdravko Perić from East Sarajevo congratulated the Police Day to the management, heads, and all members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, and told the senior colleagues who were eligible for the retirement to retire, and in that way create employment opportunities for young colleages in as greater number as possible.
