Today, in the city centre of Banja Luka, Police Director, Mr Gojko Vasić, attended the tactical-technical exercise organized by the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior on the occasion of the Police Day marked on 4 April. On this event, the citizens were introduced with the work and equipment used by the police in training and performing various tasks. The members of the Support Team in Banja Luka performed the exercise in which they demonstrated a small part of their operative work and the citizens had the chance to speak with police officers. Director Vasić said he was pleased with the fact that in two previous years the police equipment has been improved and that there was still the need to invest in the areas of criminal investigation techniques and in the equipment for investigating cybercrime. He specially emphasized the importance of obtaining new radars which enabled a lot of traffic violations to be recorded on the field. Director Vasić this time as well urged all traffic participants to follow traffic regulations, which would significantly contribute to the safety in this field.
