Minister of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, invites all the citizens of Banja Luka and the Republic of Srpska to be aware that conflicts are unnecessary, because they can only cause great damage and he hopes that everyone has enough political experience to express their claims and views of the situation in the Republic of Srpska without violence, conflicts, causing injuries  and material destruction. He warned that the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior had information about the arrival of the extremist groups with bad intentions from the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Croatia and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, some of whom were alread in the Republic of Srpska, but were brought under control. ’’Each of their intentions to cause any conflict will be sanctioned. There is information that by initiating conflicts with police, they would deliberately move the greater number of people in order to occupy certain buildings in the city, such as the National Assembly and the Government“, said Minister Lukač. He stated that the police was going to secure all these buildings and that more than 2000 police officers were going to be engaged, and added that all who attack any kind of institution were going to be sanctioned, including the organizers. Minister of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior pointed out that the Police of the Republic of Srpska was capable of ensuring big gatherings and keeping them peaceful, as well as that it could not allow the two opposite sides to meet. ’’We stopped the procession of participants with the aim of avoiding conflicts, because according to information we have, there are tensions, groups and individuals capable of initiating conflicts. ’’ If they start the procession, the organizers are going to be punished“, Minister Lukač said. Minister emphasized that the police would fight back if they were attacked, and that any provocation was going to be sanctioned. He stated that any change in the direction of any procession was not going to be allowed, and that the organizers were going to be responsible for anyone who started protesting. ’’In each of the buses coming to Banja Luka one police officer is going to be present and the bus drivers are obliged to make the lists of people in these buses, which are going to be in the possession of the police. All the passengers are going to be examined to ensure that nobody is armed’, Minister Lukač emphasized.
