Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, met today the Ambassador of the Republic of France, Ms Claire Bodonyi, and they discussed the future cooperation modalities in the field of preventing illegal trafficking of weapons. French Ambassador reminded that, based on operational information they received from the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, the police in France had recently performed significant actions related to breaking organised criminal groups involved in trafficking of weapons. Minister Lukač and H.E. Bodonyi agreed that operational exchange of information between the Republic of Srpska and the Republic of France Ministries of the Interior should be more intense in future. Ambassador Bodonyi praised the highly professional engagement of the police officers of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior while securing the Commemoration in Potočari.
