During his working visit to Public Security Center Prijedor, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr. Dragan Lukač, said that the security situation on the territory under the jurisdiction of this PSC was satisfactory and stable, and hoped that it would remain the same in future. ’’ What follows is  equipping the police better , not only PSC Prijedor but also  the Ministry of the Interior as whole, and we will work on that in future ’’, Mr. Lukač said after the meeting with the management of the Center. Head of Public Security Center, Mr. Dalibor Ivanić, and his associates informed the Minister about the security situation in the region of Prijedor. ’’Security situation is good and many satisfactory work results were achieved at all levels.  At the meeting, future tasks  were discussed. These tasks are, above all, the protection and prevention of terrorism, planning activities to maintain a  high level of safety of citizens and their property, and work on solving serious crimes, particularly,  murders from previous years that remained  unsolved’’, Mr. Ivanić said. He expressed his belief that the newly- formed Administration for Countering Organized ad Serious Crime would be of  great help in performing these tasks.
