Today, police officers of Administration for Countering Organized and Serious Crime of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior arrested six persons on the territory of the municipality of Derventa based on suspicion that they committed criminal offences of Forging documents and Abuse of right to vote. They are suspected of forging documentation based on which 1,471 voters were registered for postal voting, and they submitted that documentation to the Central Election Commission of BIH. Municipality court in Derventa issued the order on seizing controversial applications of voters from the Central Election Commission BIH, but the Central Election Commission refused to act in compliance with the order of the court and submit the required documentation on 14 September 2016. The supervised District Prosecutor in Doboj was informed about the action of Central Election Commission.
