A REPORT SUBMITTED AGAINST THE PRESIDENT OF CENTRAL ELECTION COMMISSION BIH

Today, the Administration for Organized and Serious Crime of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior submitted a report against A. Š. from Mostar, the President of Central Election Commission BIH to District Prosecutor’s Office in Doboj for committing criminal offence of   Non-enforcement of court decision, Article 371 of the Republic of Srpska Criminal Code.              On 14 September 2016, the President of the Central Election Commission BIH refused to act in compliance with the order of Municipal Court in Derventa from 9 September 2016.             As a reminder, on Thursday, 15 September 2016, police officers of the Administration for Organized and Serious Crime of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior arrested six persons on the territory of the municipality of Derventa, based on suspicion that they committed criminal offences of Forging documentation and Abuse of right to vote.             They are suspected for forging documents based on which at least 1,471 voters with postal voting from abroad were registered, and they submitted that documentation to the Central Election Commission BIH.             Municipal court in Derventa issued the order for seizing controversial applications of voters from the Central Election Commission, but the Central Election Commission BIH refused to act in compliance with the order of court and submit the required documentation to police officers of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior on 14 September 2016.
