The Republic of Srpska

At the request of the Brčko District Police, the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior is performing an operative action, with the aim of detecting persons and items related to committing criminal offences of ‘’Unauthorized Production and Trade of Weapons and Explosive Materials’’, and ‘’Unauthorized Trade of Weapons, Military Equipment, and Products Used for Military Purposes’’.             Police members of Doboj Public Security Center and Bijeljina Public Security Center arrested seven persons, and in cooperation with police officers of Brčko District Police, they searched locations on the territory of Pelagićevo, Modriča, Donji Žabar, Bijeljina, and Ugljevik.             In searches, certain amount of illegal weapons and ammunition was found and seized, such as: rifle bullets, small-calibre bullets, hand grenades, time fuse, anti-tank mines, automatic rifles, etc.               The arrested persons were handed over to Brčko District Police.
