The Republic of Srpska

The Head of Uniformed Police Administration of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Mr. Dragan Jevđenić, is participating at Police Directors’ Forum for Southeast Europe, organized by the Republic of Italy Ministry of the Interior and EUROPOL, which is being held on 5 and 6 December, in Rome, the Republic of Italy. The Forum is organized with the aim of exchanging experience regarding security challenges the region is facing and, above all, challenges related to terrorism and organized crime. At the meeting, a good cooperation between the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and the Republic of Italy Ministry of the Interior was pointed out regarding countering terrorism and organized crime through operational cooperation and cooperation through different projects and support instruments of the EU. The Forum was also an opportunity for the Head Jevđenić to meet Mr. Franco Gabrielli, the Republic of Italy Police Director, and it confirmed the joint interest of these two institutions in countering current security challenges. In addition to representatives of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, the representatives of Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Greece, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Hungary, and representatives of SELEC Centre and relevant institutions from BIH attended this Forum as well.
