The Republic of Srpska

Today, on 26 December 2016, at 9:30 AM, in Prijedor, police officers of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Administration for Organized and Serious Crime, arrested a person whose initials are M.L., a surgeon in General Hospital in Prijedor, for committing criminal offence of ‘’Bribery’’.             The person was arrested at their work place, immediately after they took certain amount of money, as an act of bribery, from a citizen.             Activities are implemented in cooperation with the Special Department for Countering Corruption, Organized and Serious Forms of Economic Crime of the Republic of Srpska Prosecutor’s Office.             The criminal investigation of arrested person is in progress.             This way, the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior would like to express its gratitude to citizens for their cooperation during solving this criminal case, and would like to invite others to report similar criminal offences to the police.
