The Republic of Srpska

Today, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr. Dragan Lukač, attended the ceremony of opening the Faculty of Security Science. Minister Lukač said that current students of Faculty of Internal Affairs, which operated within the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, would be able to continue their studies at this faculty. He added that these students would be able to study according to an old or new study program, and students who graduated from the Faculty of Internal Affairs would have the opportunity to enroll in this faculty, and thus earn the degree of Bachelor of Law in the field of Security and Criminalistics. Furthermore, Minister Lukač said that the Faculty of Security Science was the 18th organisational unit of the University in Banja Luka and it was important for the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior since it would provide professionals who would deal with security also from scientific aspect.
