37 CADETS OF THE VI CLASS SIGNED CONTRACTS FOR THE BASIC POLICE TRANING FOR THE SPECIAL ANTITERRORIST UNIT

Today, at the Administration for Police Training, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr. Dragan Lukač, attended signing of contracts on regulating interpersonal rights and obligations with cadets of the VI class of police training at the Police Academy for the Special Antiterrorist Unit of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior. On this occasion, Minister Lukač said that the Special Antiterrorist Unit would continue to accept new members and announced a new competition for admitting cadets to the Police Academy. The Head of Administration for Police Training, Mr. Mile Šikman, said that 37 cadets were selected from more than 250 applicants. A cadet, Mr. Dušan Bubulj, expressed his satisfaction with admission to police training and readiness to face the challenges which lie ahead of him. Cadets attend the police training in three steps. The first step covers theoretical and situational teaching; the second step covers professional education, i.e. internship, and then in the third step, after they successfully pass the professional exam, cadets are sent to the Special Antiterrorist Unit, where the training for a specialized police officer is performed.
