Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Darko Ćulum, has honoured today in Zvornik the murdered police officer Dragan Đurić, who was killed two years ago on this date during a terrorist attack on the Police Station Zvornik. Director Ćulum has stated that this attack and other terrorist attacks that followed in BiH present a clear threat of terrorism in this region. He emphasized the fact that the RS MoI has created a organizational structure for the prevention and detection of criminal offences in this area, and that they are continuously building capacities for fight against terrorism. Head of Police Administration Zvornik, Mr Goran Abazovic, has stated that police officer Dragan Đurić performed his police duties in a professional manner and with great efforts. He expressed his regret for the fact that after two years the court process in this case is still not completed. Family members, police station colleagues and members of the Municipal association of war disabled veterans Zvornik were also present at the commemoration for Dragan Đurić.
